Started to prepare for this day 1 week ago - searching for the perfect dress, accessories etc.
The D&D was held @ Swissotel Merchant Court hotel, located @ clark quay.

On tat very day.....
Left the hse @ 4pm to collect the flower corsage which i ordered the previous day....then bought some stuff b4 heading hm.
Started to doll myself up ard 5+ then left the house together with my 2nd bro Glenn ard 6.15pm.
reached there exactly @ 7pm. Met Zhang Yang then we proceeded to the toilet for final adjustments. Seriously zhang Yang dress for the wrong occassion sia.. hahas i kept telling her tat later when the others turn right, she should turn left as there was a wedding going on in the next ball room. =p
Slowly one by one the others arrived then as a group we proceeded to the ball room. Frankly speaking i guess this is my first time going into a ball room filled with nurses.. hahas. Of course during the whole time, everybody were busy snapping pics.

After we got settled down, The MC started the program and it was makan time!...

1st dish... SATAY! omg who on earth serve satay to guest who were nicely dressed!.. nvm..
2nd dish: Tom Yam Soup! GeeZ! it was so damn sour.
3rd Dish: Grilled Chicken in Coconut gravy, not too bad lah.
4th Dish: Steam Fish, didnt go according to the menu but it was one of the better dishes
5th Dish: Giant Prawn.. here again, ppl come for this event with their nails nicely done n u wan
them to eat the prawns with their fingers? GeeZ
6th Dish: Stir-fried vege... a very common dish
7th dish: Seafood fried rice.. Wah lou i didnt come jus to eat fried rice
8the Dish: Dessert - CHENDOL! omg somemore it taste so horrible with so much coconut milk
till tats the onli thing i can taste!.

Haiz.. waste my $$ onli.. somemore i paid like $105 for such rubbish. Plus they say got welcome door gift.. but where isit?

Luckily the onli 2 things tats preventing the atmosphere from going dull is the games n the photo takings. Otherwise i think confirm got lots of ppl will leave the room.
After the party which ended like close to 12 midnight, karyin;kim;serene n the others left to catch the last train while me yuwen mei2 plus cuyan n another gal stayed back, thinking of where to go. Many others either left for clubs or pubs since the hotel was situated next to clark quay. With no night movies.. the 5 of us initalli wanted to go for night supper which was frog leg porridge but as i was veri tired so after sending the rest off i went back to the hotel to wait for Glenn to fetch me :)

on our way back... the both of us kept laughing away... y?
2 days ago Glenn injured his right index finger in a freak accident involving the ramp of the tank. He got rushed to NUH, called hm which i picked up, saying wad happen n his alright. I didnt get a clear picture but was damn worried
Mum didnt realise the severity till i told her tat there's a high possibility tat he nids operation. hahas Wah lou she drag me to take the taxi to the hospital. -_-''''.
After we found out where glenn was n the severity of his injury... the both of us had dinner while waiting for the operation to finish.
Abt 1hr later.. he came out of the OT n together we went down to the A/E to collect his medications. Wah lou his finger kenna bandage till it was so big. While glenn had his dinner.. he explained wad happen n stated tat half of his nail came off n together with part of the finger.. it was left dangling.. ~ gross ~. Glenn went back to camp while me n mum went home.

The funny thing tat we were laughing was tat as glenn was driving, he had to point his injured finger up so as he overtake cars... they thought he was pointing the 3rd finger n immediately after being overtaken, they speed up on the other lane to onli realise tat the pointing finger was in a bandage..
