12th Day of Attachment

Morning shift today so woke up @ 5.30 lor but to onli find tat my mum had overslept (she was suppose to wake up @ 3am).. Mad Rush for her... Me left the house @ 6am.. reaching KKH @ 6.30am

My flu got better so i was allowed to work in the nursery today with LiJia & Karen. First time hands on experience on bathing an infant somemore the baby tat i was in-charge was like onli a few hours old, still had some blood on the body & hair. Also first time experience on bottle feeding an infant.. the last time i fed a child was like probably a month old.. tis time the babies were all so YOUNG.. so fragile. For some of them.. can tell tat nxt time they will be naughty & stubborn children.. Refuse to drink milk lor.. kept pushing the bottle tit below the tongue 0_0''''. For onle baby can take up to 1/2hr to feed lor.

Today got not much stuff to do in the nursery so finish everything by 9am.. then slack ard b4 the staff nurse decided to teach us some stuff. Had the chance to observe the nurse give BCG & vitamin K to a baby and had the chance to c a case of eye discharge from a baby.

I rather work in the nursery than work outside.. y.. cus in the nursery can sit down n enjoy aircon while outside had to stand the whole time & answer call bell somremore NO aircon.. freaking stuffy lor
